Provenance over polish
We prefer pieces with history. A scratch is rarely a flaw — more often it is a chapter from the hands that held it.

ہماری کہانی
Shaban Antiques was founded in Quetta in 2018 by Archaeologist Salang Khan. The Name of Trust is more than a slogan — it is how every piece is chosen, examined, and packed. Brass and copper, carved wood, porcelain, jewellery, gemstones, and rare decorative objects pass through our hands so their stories can continue. Our mission is simple: protect, preserve, and pass heritage forward.
We prefer pieces with history. A scratch is rarely a flaw — more often it is a chapter from the hands that held it.
We sell what we find, not what a catalogue asks for. The cabinet rotates with old bazaars, collectors, and time.
No retouching the patina. What you see in our pictures is what arrives at your door.
Most of our orders begin on WhatsApp. Extra photos, measurements, and packing notes — we like it that way.
I am Archaeologist Salang Khan, and my connection with the past goes beyond collecting old objects. As an archaeologist, I have always believed that every heritage piece carries a fragment of history — a story of the people, cultures, craftsmanship, and civilizations that came before us.
My vision for Shaban Antiques is simple: to protect, preserve, and pass heritage forward.
Across Pakistan and beyond, countless antiques, traditional artworks, jewellery, gemstones, manuscripts, decorative objects, and other cultural pieces carry stories that deserve to survive. I believe these pieces should not simply disappear with time. They deserve to be understood, cared for, and preserved for generations to come.
Shaban Antiques was created with this purpose — to carefully discover and preserve meaningful pieces of the past and connect them with valuable collectors who appreciate their history, craftsmanship, and cultural significance.
For me, an antique is not merely an old object. It is a piece of heritage entrusted to the present so that its story can continue into the future. Our work is not only about collecting antiques. It is about keeping history alive.

Shop the collection →Archaeologist Salang Khan opened the cabinet in Quetta with a simple belief: heritage should not disappear with time. Every piece was examined by hand. Every customer was remembered.
Sourcing widened across old bazaars, estate collections, historians, and trusted sellers. Many pieces took years of patience before they earned a place in the Shaban cabinet.
Collectors found us on WhatsApp and Instagram. Orders left Quetta packed with the same care as the first — photographed in honest light, described as they are.
More than 3,000 pieces found new homes, and more than 1,000 collectors placed their trust in Shaban Antiques. The slogan became a practice: protect, preserve, pass forward.
The cabinet opened its doors online, so the collection could be discovered from anywhere — while every treasure is still packed in Quetta, the way it always was.
